Manifestos in Bira news

Last week was manifesto week and Bira, the parent company of the ACT produced a simple table comparing manifestos for Labour, Conservatives, Liberal Democrats, Green Party and Reform UK, and where they impact small independent businesses.

They also produced their own manifesto by addressing the challenges faced by small enterprises and committing to “making the high street better”.

Andrew GoodacreBira CEO, Andrew Goodacre reflects on some key issues covered in the Bira manifesto "As the election campaign continues the focus so far seems to have been on personal tax, defense spending and pensioners. There has been little reference to the needs of businesses in general so far. Bira produced its own manifesto a couple of weeks ago and I thought I would reflect on a few key issues for us.
