New Sustrans cycle maps for the Yorkshire area

Sustrans introduce two new cycling maps for the Yorkshire area, showing locations of all cycle shops in the area, and highlighting ACT members.

Sustrans - the leading UK charity focused on helping to make smarter travel choices possible, desirable and inevitable - have introduced two brand new regional cycling maps for the Yorkshire area.

The new maps are part of the "Discover" series from the National Cycling Network. One map covers West Yorkshire and the other South Yorkshire & the Peak District. Other cycling maps already in circulation around the Yorkshire area include the Way of the Roses 170 mile sea to sea challenge route and Discover Yorkshire Wolds, Hull & York.

Sustrans have been publishing fold out cycle maps for over 15 years. They're described as ‘the ultimate tool for exploring the expanding National Cycle Network and other cycle routes.'

All the maps include:

  • Clearly mapped traffic-free and on-road National Cycle Network Routes and other cycle routes
  • Detailed inset maps for towns and cities including link routes
  • Land profiles for major cycle routes featured
  • Easy to read contours
  • Local Tourist Information Centre, bike shop and bike hire details - including specific mentions of ACT member shops
  • Printed on waterproof paper and supplied within a protective wallet
