ACT and E-Bike Positive Partner with E-Bike Summit for 2027 London Event

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

The E-Bike Summit will return to London on 26 April 2027, with the E-Bike Positive campaign, co-managed by the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) and the Bicycle Association (BA), confirmed as a core partner for the event.

Following its last staging at the University of Oxford in 2024, the E-Bike Summit has been acquired by BikeBiz and will take place at Sustainable Ventures, County Hall, London. The event is designed to bring together voices from across the e-bike sector, including businesses, policymakers, local authorities, fleet operators and retailers, to discuss some of the biggest issues facing the industry.

The UK e-bike market continues to face challenges around non-compliant and illegal imports, safety, regulation and infrastructure. The 2027 summit will focus on greater cross-sector collaboration, with discussions around safety, verified standards and collaborative lobbying among the priorities for the event.

This closely aligns with the work of E-Bike Positive, which focuses on strengthening consumer trust, regulatory compliance and best practice across the e-bike sector.

In a joint statement on behalf of E-Bike Positive, ACT and the Bicycle Association said: “The E-Bike Summit is a great opportunity to bring together perspectives from across the sector, which is why we’re so pleased to be partnering with the event. It’s a natural fit for E-Bike Positive, providing a forum for constructive discussion around standards, safety and building confidence in the e-bike market.”

The 2027 summit will feature two dedicated spaces. The Main Stage will host panel debates, keynote addresses and Q&A sessions, while a separate Workshop and Interactive Room will provide space for roundtables, technical masterclasses and practical sessions. Organisations, trade bodies and brands are also being invited to enquire about hosting workshops during the event.

Located at Sustainable Ventures, County Hall, directly opposite the Houses of Parliament, the summit will also be positioned close to Westminster for attending MPs and transport officials, with Waterloo Station nearby and cycle parking available on site.

Delegate registration is now open, with BikeBiz announcing an early bird rate of £105, available for a limited one-month period, before tickets return to the standard price of £125.

The E-Bike Summit 2027 takes place on 26 April 2027 at Sustainable Ventures, County Hall, London. Further information and delegate registration are available through the E-Bike Summit website.
