CIN Live 2026: Two-thirds of bike shops value getting face-to-face with the trade

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Ahead of Cycling Industry Live 2026, which runs over 20-21 September 2026 at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, fresh statistics have emphasised how important the bike trade believes getting face-to-face with the rest of the industry actually is.

CIN Live 2026
CIN Live 2026

CIN’s latest Market Data survey revealed that 72% of bike shops and workshops prize the opportunity to speak directly with brand managers at trade shows above all else. Getting to see new products was the second most important draw to trade shows, with 63% of dealers indicating so. Other key draws included ideas for better retailing and product displays (47%) and seminars with invited professionals (38%).

CIN Live 2026 is also an opportunity for bike dealers to see brands at new distributor homes, following a large number of distribution deals that have taken place over the course of the year.

The ACT is hosting a seminar on E-Bike Positive on Sunday 20th September, with a special ‘guide to bicycle mechanics training’, run by Cytech training providers and ACT members Activate Cycle Academy, happening on both days of the event.

Also, regrettably, there have been some bike trade supplier administrations in 2026 which has created further disruption in supplier channels, placing pressure on shops and dealers to know who is now supplying which brands.

CIN Live 2026 has a wide range of bike distributors, importers and brands and a broad range of options for shops who’ve found that they need to check out alternative suppliers since their existing ones have disappeared or brands have switched suppliers.

Bike dealers and workshops are invited to catch up with the latest distribution deals, replace gaps in their ranges, renew relationships and forge new ones at CIN Live 2026, which runs at NAEC Stoneleigh 20-21 September 2026.

Trade pre-registration is free. For more details, please visit live.cyclingindustry.news.
