The Cytech Pub Quiz invites riders and industry members to test their cycling knowledge for the chance to win prizes, including three free full bike protection wraps and additional rewards such as 50% discount codes, with top scorers entered into the prize draw.

Delivered as an interactive online quiz, participants can take part by clicking here, with the quiz combining light-hearted competition with incentives aimed at engaging the cycling community ahead of the main event.

RideWrap, known for its self-healing protection films and tailored kits, is supporting the initiative as part of the wider Local Bike Shop Week campaign, which runs from 3–9 May 2026 and celebrates independent cycle retailers across the UK.

The week-long initiative, managed by the Association of Cycle Traders, highlights the expertise, service and community role of local bike shops while encouraging riders to shop local and support the high street, with more information available on the website.

In addition to the quiz, the inaugural Local Bike Shop Week Awards will recognise shops that go above and beyond in areas such as customer service, repairs, community support and promoting cycling. Nominations are open until 19 April and can be made via the relevant section of the website.

The awards aim to showcase the vital contribution of independent retailers to cycling culture and local communities, reinforcing the broader message of Local Bike Shop Week.
