A Cytech training provider has secured Government support under the Skills for Life campaign to offer part-funded Cytech Skills Bootcamps in Surrey.

Activate Cycle Academy, a member of the ACT, will run three bootcamps in January, February and March 2026, combining Cytech technical one and technical two into a single cycle-maintenance programme.

Surrey County Council will part-fund the training, leaving employers to pay only a small share of the total cost, with small and medium-sized businesses contributing £300 per employee and large employers paying £1,000.

The remainder of the cost will be covered by Surrey County Council, making 12 days of Cytech training available at significantly reduced rates.

Funding is limited to candidates aged 19 or over who live in Surrey, have the right to work in the UK and can attend both courses to receive certification. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis by Activate Cycle Academy.

For more information, employers can contact Activate Cycle Academy on 01865 550 324 or cycles@activatelearning.ac.uk, or register staff interest via the Cycle Maintenance Skills Bootcamp page.

Members of the ACT get exclusive access to Cytech accreditation. To learn more, visit the Cytech website.
