Workshop platform Bikebook teams with Association of Cycle Traders

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

The Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) has revealed a strategic partnership with Bikebook. Aimed at driving more business to ACT members, the partnership is also designed to equip them with Bikebook’s workshop management platform, Workshop.

Bikebook

Workshop is a simple, all-in-one solution tailored specifically for bike shops and mechanics. Relevant for mobile mechanics, small workshops, or those part of a large chain, Workshop eliminates the need for cumbersome paper processes and complex systems. The platform streamlines everything from communication, inventory, invoicing to route planning, helping save time as well as boosting revenues.

The system is designed to save up to 15 minutes on each service, boost customer retention by up to 22%, and mitigate the effects of seasonality, ensuring a steady flow of customers throughout the year. Developed in close collaboration with Cytech-registered mechanics and trainers, the platform aligns with industry best practices while being adaptable to the needs of any bike shop or mechanic.

Jonathan Harrison, Director of The Association of Cycle Traders, said: “The collaboration with Bikebook is a significant step forward in supporting our members. The Workshop platform offers advanced tools that not only enhance efficiency but also improve the overall customer experience. This partnership aligns perfectly with ACT’s mission to support the UK’s cycle trade by providing our members with access to the best resources available.”

Jake Fieldsend, Director of Bikebook.co.uk, added: “At Bikebook, we’ve been dedicated to supporting over 1,300 bike shops and mechanics for several years now. We share the same goal of improving the industry, enabling shops and mechanics to offer a more professional and efficient service to their customers. By working with individuals closely connected to Cytech, we’ve created a system that is familiar, easy to use, and highly adaptable. This partnership with ACT allows us to continue our mutual goal of helping and supporting bike shops across the country more effectively.”

ACT Gold members will benefit from a 20% discount, while Silver members will receive a 10% discount on the subscription fee for Bikebook’s Workshop platform.
