Walton Street’s Steve achieves Cytech master technician status

Walton Street Cycles, one of Oxford’s oldest bike shops, has been trading in the city since 1975.

And recently, Steve Avery, who according to his colleagues, has been repairing bikes in Oxford for “many, many, many years” became a Cytech technical three qualified master technician.

Cytech technical three is designed for advanced cycle mechanics with strong technical knowledge and experience working on high-end bicycles and equipment. Cytech technical three is the highest attainable qualification in professional cycle maintenance in the UK. It is delivered in a modular format to allow businesses and candidates the option to choose specific training relevant to the products they are working on.

Steve achieved the highest attainable qualification in professional cycle maintenance in the UK through Cytech training partner, Activate Cycle Academy.
