VOLT e-bikes announces partnership with TFL for new scrappage scheme

January 30th, London: VOLT e-bikes today announces it is partnering with TFL for the ULEZ scrappage scheme to help eligible riders join the e-bike revolution. VOLT is offering exclusive purchase discounts this month alongside free test rides for all consumers and businesses from its London Bridge showroom.
The £110M City-Hall funded vehicle scrappage scheme is the capital’s first scrappage funding and will play a significant role in ensuring small businesses, charities, disabled people, and those on low incomes are prepared ahead of the ULEZ expansion later this year.
Charities and businesses with fewer than 10 employees can apply to scrap a van (£5,000 grant) or a minibus (£7,000 grant). Londoners receiving certain benefits will be able to apply for cash grants of up to £2,000 to scrap their non-compliant vehicles and make the switch to more sustainable transport, like e-bikes.
The partnership forms part of VOLT’s drive to improve access to sustainable transport solutions across London and the UK.
