Informal meet-up among the bike trade this Friday

Posted on in Cycles News

Members of the cycling trade are meeting up this Friday (4th Feb) at a London pub "for a beer and a bit of a chinwag".

A collection of bike dealers have arranged an informal meet-up to give the trade the opportunity for a catch-up over some drinks. It will initially be tried out for a few months and if it takes off there is potential make it a regular meet.

All those in the workshop and friends are welcome. Not a formal thing and we don't have anything to promote or sell!
Distributors and suppliers are welcome "by sponsoring a beer for a mechanic of their choice".

The group's plan is to stay at the venue until at least 9pm, with the potential to go for a group bike ride should everyone bring their own bike, but not to worry if you're unable to bring one.

The drinks will take place in Hop Kingdom, a relaxed venue with a skatepark inside and a large covered area outside with the opportunity to drink next to your bikes while watching other cyclists do stunts.

Location: Hop Kingdom
Phone: 020 3730 4129
Time: 6pm onwards

If you have any questions about the meet-up, please contact Gavin from Butternut Bikes via email butternutbikes@gmail.com or phone 07476 078 666.
