Global Payments strengthens Ecommerce Portal security with multi-factor authentication

Posted on in Business News ,Brands & Products News , Cycles News

From Wednesday 16th June, Global Payments have strengthened your Ecommerce Portal security with the addition of multi-factor authentication (MFA).

This means you'll be able to authenticate with email and SMS. It's an extra layer of protection for your account login credentials and business data. No set up is required, we're using the contact details which you have provided based on your user in the Ecommerce Portal. If you require to update your details, your admin or user manager can do so for you.

What does multi-factor authentication mean for you?

It's a second level of security verification-so we know you are who you say you are. It's a good thing. And it keeps your account and customer data protected from false login attempts.

It's extra account security for an extra layer of protection.

If you require more details, please visit the Global Payments Help Centre.

For more information about how you can use Global Payments in your business visit the ACT website here (cycles businesses) or the ActSmart website here (all other businesses).
