Raleigh extends next day delivery cut off to 9pm

Raleigh moves first again by supporting their dealer network during key sales months with new 9pm cut off for next day deliveries

From the 17th May, Raleigh UK moves first again by introducing industry leading service improvements with a 9pm cut off time for next day deliveries during a key sales period. The move is being made in order to help their network of independent cycle shops to offer the convenience and speed of delivery that their customers are demanding.

RaleighRaleigh was the first in the industry to introduce a 6pm order cut off for next day delivery, a service which has proved popular with UK bicycle retailers. Investment in voice pick technology, advanced forecasting techniques and a SLA of 99% availability on fast-moving lines sees Raleigh delivering 100% next day performance and they are confident this performance can be sustained with the new later cut off. Adrian Mawdsley heads up UK Trade Sales for Raleigh and comments "Our dealers are telling us that they need to be able to get key stock lines and commodity items quickly ahead of the weekend trade and holding large stocks in store just isn't an option. Bike shops are competing with the convenience of pure online players and need to get the items they need quickly. We only expect this trend to continue so this move is an important step".

As a trial period, the 9pm cut off will be available on Thursdays on all orders placed through the B2B portal, over the phone and on both parts and accessories and bicycles. If the service proves to be useful to retailers further roll out is planned. This offer only applies to orders over the b2b website, not via the phone.
