Moore Large dealers to benefit from no cost finance

Posted on in Brands & Products News , Cycles News

Developed by the ACT and V12 Retail finance, Ride it away is the fastest growing sales tool in the UK cycles sector. The scheme allows customers to get the products, clothes and accessories they want by spreading the cost of their purchase.

With over 800 retailers already offering finance via the Ride it away scheme, Moore Large have now made it even more accessible for all their dealers to get on board by funding the subsidy on sales of Moore Large products on 0% finance over 6 or 12 months. This means using finance costs the shop nothing, allowing normal margins to be retained on all Moore Large products.

Commenting on the scheme, Moore Large said "a retailer can gain competitive advantage as well as a significant increase to turnover by offering customers help with obtaining the funding to purchase products, especially if the market is tough.

"We have been looking at potential partners to team up with to provide this functionality to support our growing network of dealers for a while. V12 offers the expertise, systems and industry knowledge to allow us to achieve this goal. We look forward to seeing the results."

One of the biggest challenges for brand owners is how to influence a consumer's purchasing decision on the shop floor. By joining the Ride it away scheme, suppliers are able to encourage the sale of their brands in-store by creating consumer promotions and funding the cost of this to the retailer.

On forming the new partnership, Matt Barton, National Account Manager for V12 said "Teaming up with Moore Large represents a great opportunity for V12 to further extend into the cycle sector. As the ACT [Ride it away] scheme provider it was a natural progression for us to extend our offer and system knowledge to manufacturers and suppliers alike. We look forward to further exciting developments in the future."

Customers can apply in store for £250 - £15,000 credit used against any products distributed by Moore Large - including bikes, e-bikes, accessories and clothing, which can even be a mix of products rather than one big purchase - and spread the cost over 6 or 12 months at 0%.

Retailers will be charged a small Interest charge by V12 at the point of purchase which will then be credited in full by Moore Large in the form of a credit note upon re-ordering the same products.

To be eligible for the scheme, Moore Large dealers will need to be a member of the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) and be accepted onto the Ride it away scheme*.

If you are already an ACT member and part of the Ride it away scheme you can start using this service now through the V12 system.

If you are currently not offering finance via Ride it away, visit rideitaway.biz or call 01273 427 700 to request more information.
