Repairs and replacements back to your shop - start promoting Fetch today!

Posted on in Cycles News

Promotional point of sale (POS) materials are now available to help you promote Fetch insurance to your customers - both in-store and online.

Fetch offers specialist cycle insurance to thousands of cyclists and their bikes throughout the UK.

http://www.actsmart.biz/uploaded_images/icons-210px/fetch-strap-line.jpgRetaining customers through the cycle insurance claims process has become a hot topic amongst retailers in recent years. Frustration has arisen as the majority of insurers work directly with a select group of cycle replacement firms rather than the entire UK bike shop network. This means that independent cycle retailers are often excluded from the replacement process, even when they originally sold that customer the bike they are now claiming for. As a result the retailer misses out on providing a value added service, which helps retains customer loyalty and naturally increases sales.

It's not just the bike shop that misses out though. For the customer the current insurance replacements process can mean that they lose out on the valuable benefits their local cycle shop has to offer and can even find that their replacement bike is supplied in a box delivered to their door, which they are usually not qualified to build.

In order to tackle this issue, the ACT has teamed up with cycle insurance specialists Butterworth Spengler to create a unique insurance product - Fetch Cycle Insurance.

With Fetch every customer has the choice of which bike shop they want to carry out their repair or replacement, without the need for a discounted service, protecting retailer margins. If the retailer that originally sold the bike delivered great service, chances are the customer will return to that shop.

Another great benefit for retailers is that when a customer is referred to Fetch and a policy is taken out, income is generated as a commission and to their ActSmart account.

POS is now available to help promote Fetch insurance, giving retailers the chance to personally recommend an insurance product to the customer and with personalised POS available, creating and tracking successful referrals couldn't be simpler!
