New look Ride it away POS now available

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Promotional point of sale (POS) materials are proven to increase the number of bikes sold in store - order today to start boosting your sales!

Ride it away retail finance is a powerful sales tool for your business, which allows your customers to get the products they want without breaking the bank.

One of the easiest ways to maximise your sales with finance is by letting your customers know that it is available. The retailers who have the most success with finance are those who actively promote finance in store and online.

When comparing a sample of dealers who offer retail finance, the sales speak for themselves. The average sale value for one customer who uses Ride it away point of sale is £1754 compared to a store that does not at just £595.

Ride it away point of sale provides a great merchandising package for your shop, and with a new range now available, it's the perfect time to stock up.

The ‘Ride it away' brand was created by ActSmart in 2010, supported by the ‘find a dealer' search facility on The Cycling Experts. With consumers recognising the Ride it away brand online, the in-store point of sale (POS) has always been crucial to delivering a consistent message to your customers whilst being visually attractive in store, appealing to your customers and enabling them to buy the bike of their dreams.

This year, the Ride it away brand has gone from strength to strength. With sales topping £1.275million in just one weeks trading alone across the network of 650 bike retailers, the scheme is now worth over £50m to the cycles industry.

The growing interest from both retailers and customers led to the introduction of rideitaway.co.uk earlier this year. The website gives customers the chance to work out how much they can afford on finance and find their local dealer, whilst giving retailers the opportunity to promote their shop to the these customers.

The website is driving even more customers into your shop, so help your customers recognise the Ride it away brand to complete their purchase on finance by displaying in-store POS and web banners on your own websites.

Since the FCA took over the responsibility for Consumer Credit regulation on 1st April, point of sale materials purchased before this date are no longer compliant so will need to be replaced with the new stock which is now available.

Following retailer feedback earlier in the year we have introduced a number of new additions to the POS portfolio, including a range of window stickers, hanging banners, bike tags and downloadable web banners to meet retailer demand.
