Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

ACT members were in attendance at the hugely successful Bira Conference in London last week, featuring an inspiring line-up of speakers providing valuable insights from independent retail experts.

Gareth Thomas MP

The conference featured an impressive line-up of speakers, including renowned British designer Wayne Hemingway MBE, who offered valuable insights on sustainable retail practices and place development. Jonathan Sunburk from Google discussed how AI can help smaller retailers compete more effectively, while Victoria Robertshaw, owner of Green Street, shared practical strategies for integrating sustainability into retail operations.

Attendees of the conference also welcomed MP Gareth Thomas, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Services, Small Businesses, and Exports at the Department for Business and Trade. He actively engaged with the audience, providing insights and answering questions from attendees.

The ACT thank all members that were a part of the fantastic event and look forward to seeing members again at future events and conferences!
