Retailer Spotlight - BikeWise & Run

For our latest retailer profile, we spoke with Dallas Wiseman from BikeWise & Run, a Ceredigion-based bike shop that has become a hub for cyclists in the region.

Dallas Wiseman

Dallas, who owns the company explains: “I have always been a keen cyclist but spent the whole of my working career in the motor industry as a technician/mechanic. I spent the last 10 years in the industry in management where I upskilled in the business side of the sector.

“During 2020, as a family we made the decision that it was now or never and pushed forward with the plan to open a bike shop in our local town of Lampeter.

“I don’t miss the 45-minute drive each way to work anymore and enjoy working in our local community with a 10-minute ride or run to the shop!

“I haven’t look back, this last 10 months has been a steep learning curve - but - I am loving it. 2023 has without doubt been a very turbulent year for the industry, but it can only get better, and we are ready.”
