The Bira Conference - hosted by ACT's parent company - will take place on Wednesday 16th October at One Great George Street, London.

Bira confrence

Join us for free to discuss current challenges independent retailers face and practical strategies to overcome them while competing with big chains in a digital era.

Bira, the parent company of ACT, is hosting a members' conference in London on the 16th October 2024. This all-day event, running from 10am to 5pm, will celebrate the best of independent retail. The conference will feature keynote speakers addressing future challenges and opportunities in the retail sector, along with interactive sessions on technology, sustainability, and high street development. Attendees will also have the chance to discuss the support needed from the new government for independent retailers.

ACT joined BIRA in March 2023 and this conference marks the first opportunity to unite members from both organisations, all sharing the common goal of empowering independent retailers to thrive. ACT staff will be in attendance, and we look forward to meeting many of our members at this event.

The website for the event can be found here.

Registration to attend the event can be found here.
