Posted on in Business News , Cycles News , Political News

The All Party Parliamentary Group for Cycling & Walking (APPGCW) have an upcoming virtual meeting where they will explore the Government's e-scooter trials. This is a fast-developing policy area as UK councils get to grips with e-scooter trials.

The meeting will take place on Friday 23rd April at 10am.

Speakers include representatives from Guide Dogs, Avon and Somerset Police, CoMo UK, North Devon County Council and several e-scooter share companies.

The APPGCW have a special event - BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine will interview Isabel Hardman (The Spectator and presenter of BBC Radio 4's Week in Westminster) and Peter Walker (Political Correspondent, The Guardian) about their recent book releases.

They both explore the transformative effects that physical activity and active travel can have on physical and mental health. Isabel's book The Natural Health Service: How Nature Can Mend Your Mind and Peter Walker's book The Miracle Pill are both great reads. We look forward to an informal chat with Jeremy, Isabel and Peter; we expect this event to be popular so do register as soon as you can.

The meeting will take place on Thursday 29th April at 7.30pm.
