Local Bike Shop Day registration now open

Posted on in Cycles News

Following the announcement that Local Bike Shop Day will be going ahead on 6th October 2018 registration is now open for bike shops to feature on the official directory.

The ACT is supporting Daniel Jones' idea to run a Local Bike Shop day, inspired by the success of Record Store Day in the music trade.

Since the idea was pitched online earlier this month it has gained huge support from IBDs, suppliers, trade press and consumer magazines. Jones is now pushing forward with the idea and asking retailers to get involved and plan events for the day - from hosting a bbq to inviting special guest speakers.

Retailers who opt in to take part in the day will be promoted to consumers via the Local Bike Shop Day directory, hosted on the ACT's consumer facing website The Cycling Experts.

Simply register your shop to make sure you appear.

Register now

Once your registration has been approved you'll have the Local Bike Shop Day logo added to your listing on The Cycling Experts and you'll appear in the Local Bike Shop Day search.

You can search for your business to see how your listing looks here. If you don't already have a listing you can create one by creating a free ACT account.
