#IndieXmasWindows

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Indie Retail UK has launched a new campaign that celebrates all the hard work and creativity that independent retailers put into creating their shop window displays.

The campaign was launched on Instagram today, giving shops the opportunity to share their shop windows and have them reposted onto the Indie Retail Instagram page. The campaign uses the hashtag #IndieXmasWindows, making it easier for the posts to be viewed by more shops and customers!

Over the last couple of years independent retailers have faced tough challenges such as the decline of cash, the growth of online shopping and rocketing business rates. However, the buzz and excitement that surrounds Christmas, not to mention the heavily increased high street footfall, provides a great opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness that independent retailers bring to the high street!

Eye-catching window displays that help to encompass the magic of Christmas can not only bring joy and laughter to high street shoppers, but also encourage them to take a look inside at what else your shop has to offer. Ideas for a theme can include a winter wonderland, a gingerbread world, or a tree made out of the material of your choice, such as coffee cups, jumpers or even books!

However you choose to decorate, ensure to use post a photo on Instagram, tag @shopindieuk and use the hashtag #IndieXmasWindows so that your work of art is seen by the masses!
