iceBike* 2020 took place from 18th-20th February at the Marshall Arena:MK in Milton Keynes. The show featured over 60 brands with this year being said to be its "busiest show ever", with a 17% increase in overall retailers from 2019, and attendees up by 11%.

The ACT returned to iceBike* 2020 and focussed on three core initiatives; Ride it away, Cytech and Local Bike Shop Day.

Ride it away

The team explained key points as to what makes the ACT's Ride it away finance scheme number one in the cycles sector. Ride it away, bought to the cycles market by the ACT in partnership with V12, achieved cycle sector sales of £115m in 2019. The below infographic was available at iceBike* and explains more detail on how to choose the right finance provider for you, as well as detail on upcoming Ride it away developments.

Cytech

The Cytech stand offered up information on the range of courses available to the trade, as well as demonstrating why it's a necessity to have Cytech qualified staff in order to be an accredited Shimano Service Centre. Being Cytech qualified not only gives your staff the confidence they need to do their job to the highest of their ability, but it also gives your customers peace of mind that their bike is in safe hands.

Local Bike Shop Day

The ACT were also delighted to see the level of interest for this years' Local Bike Shop Day, which you can now sign up for. For ideas of how you can get involved with Local Bike Shop Day visit the website here or contact the ACT.
