Job Description

This is a female specific role to lead our women in the workshop programme:

Entering the growth phases of Cairney Cycles social enterprise partnership our Cycle Development Managers will be responsible for managing customers, communications, projects for delivery of activities both in-the-workshop and in-the-saddle. We will be growing relationships with the community, third and statutory sector partners and the Cycle industry. Managers will be responsible for coordinating this activity as instructed by the Programme Lead. To support the growth of the programme, you will engage with local communities and clubs creating links and opportunities whilst mentoring and supporting our cycle development officers, team members and volunteers. You will support the programme lead on everything cycling-related and be a point of contact for all cycling-specific enquiries, our bike rental scheme and any other sales. This will involve handling retail transactions, developing and adhering to policies and procedures and being responsible for health and safety of customers, employees and those working within our programmes. A key part of the role will involve working with the team to maximise funding opportunities to support development of the project.

This reflects some of the resent requirements of the role, but this is not an exhaustive list, and the programme is subject to change depending on funding and outside influences. For this reason, we’ll need someone who is adaptable to changes as the project develops.
