Job Description
Madison is the leading distributor of branded cycle components and accessories, angling and power-sports equipment in the UK. Our business continues to grow and we pride ourselves on our reputation within the industry of providing excellent customer service. We are now recruiting for a Telesales advisor to join our Telesales Team based at Knowlhill, Milton Keyes to help us maintain our high standards and to be part of our continuing success story.
Reporting to the Telesales Manager, the successful candidate will have experience in managing their own workload, be confident in providing expert technical advice on our products and be able to manage multiple tasks seamlessly. He/she will need to be an enthusiastic team player with a proven track record of achieving their goals, ideally within the cycle industry.
The role involves, but is not limited to:
- Processing inbound sales calls.
- Processing inbound sales emails.
- Calling customers with sales offers and new product information.
- Offering expert technical advice on all our products.
- Liaising with our Brand and Sales teams to ensure our customers are fully supported
You’ll enjoy dealing directly with customers and have proven experience of this. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills (good written and spoken English are essential for this role) and be familiar with Microsoft Office products. A working knowledge of Road and MTB bikes is important, and a good technical knowledge of Shimano products is preferred.
