Job Description
Specialized Concept Store in Ruislip is looking for a driven and customer-focused Assistant Manager to help lead our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading cycling brands in a dynamic and fast-growing retail environment. As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day running of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
•Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales/web sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision
•Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering excellent customer service and expert product advice
•Assist with staff training, development, and performance management
•Help plan and execute in-store merchandising and promotional activities
•Monitor store KPIs and help drive sales targets
•Take ownership of specific operational areas (e.g. stock control, scheduling, events coordination)
•Step up to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager
Skills/Experience Required
What We’re Looking For:
•Previous retail management or supervisory experience (bike industry experience is a strong advantage)
•A genuine passion for cycling and Specialized products
•Strong leadership and communication skills
•A customer-first mindset with excellent sales and service abilities
•A proactive approach with great attention to detail
•Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing business needs
