Every member of staff invited to talk to the ACT at iceBike*

Posted on in Cycles News

The ACT is the largest cycle trade association in the UK, representing over 4000 cycle businesses through promotion, business support and skills development.

It's ‘skills development' that is one of the areas of focus for the ACT at this year's iceBike*. If the ACT represent over 4000 businesses, how many employees would that be? Your guess is as good as mine, but I'm sure we can agree it's a lot!

From bike technicians and retail staff to CEO's and operations managers, the ACT recognise that people are at the heart of speciality retail and is committed to supporting the development of individuals with access to services such as:

*Cytech, developed and managed by the ACT, also has a stand at iceBike. Read more here.

As Cytech's international status continues to grow it's never been more important for everyone in the cycle trade - no matter what their role - to become Cytech qualified and learn the basics of the workshop and how it has an impact on the retail experience.

Cytech qualifications are available to everyone, however only ACT members can qualify to be recognised as a Cytech accredited shop and ACT members are entitled to a 10% discount off courses.

Visit the ACT and Cytech at iceBike * to find out more!
