Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Fully Charged was established in 2014 with the mission to offer a new type of transport culture.

Fully Charged recently became a Riese & Müller Global Ambassador, adding highly sought-after Bosch Expert status to its list of honours.

Establishing itself as London's largest electric bike specific retailer, Fully Charged offers an unrivalled choice of the world's premium eBikes.

Having only been a Riese & Müller dealer for a little over a year, Fully Charged has already earnt Ambassador status - one of only a handful globally. Fully Charged now plays host to the largest stock of Riese & Müller eBikes in the UK, available for display and test ride.

Ben Jaconelli, Founder of Fully Charged, commented;

"It's been a super exciting five years and I am incredibly proud of the team and what we have achieved."

Jaconelli continues,

"We are incredibly proud to be showcasing some of the world's best eBike brands and to have been recognised by the likes of Bosch and Riese & Müller for our efforts is great.

As an experienced eBike-only retailer, we've been one step ahead of the game for a number of years, with our knowledgeable staff able to offer expert advice on sales, test rides and technical support.

eBike technicians demand rising

eBikes are becoming more and more popular as we move further into 2019 with demand for eBike technicians rising across the UK.

If you are looking to stock, sell and service eBikes then why not sign up for a Cytech technical eBike course designed to prepare businesses for the predicted rise in eBike maintenance in the coming years.

The subjects covered in the course are:

  • Safe working practices when dealing with batteries and electrical units
  • Understanding and working to the legal standards and being able to differentiate between type approved and non-type approved e-bikes
  • Basic electrical theory and terminology including understanding wiring diagrams and multimeter use
  • Soldering iron and electrical crimps use with best practice for installing electrical connectors
  • Diagnosis and use of ‘intelligent' diagnostics systems, as well as testing and fault finding of the components
  • Removal and installation of components, and test rides of bikes with the motor either at the front, rear hub or built into the frame
  • Communicating service work completed to the customer
