IBD Freewheel programme

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

bike pedal Madison created an IBD-focussed e-commerce website, Freewheel.co.uk, and after iceBike* 2019 it will be open to all cycling retailers in the UK.

This programme was designed to offer a "cutting-edge online presence" for independent bicycle retailers. Madison developed this programme to drive business in the direction of local bike shops within the UK through click and collect service or through receiving commission from home delivery sales.

How does Freewheel.co.uk work?

Freewheel is there to blend the real-world and the online shopping experience by asking consumers to select a local bike shop where they shop from, the shop chosen will then receive all commission or collections. Madison discusses how attributing every sale to a local bike shop could be the support local bike shops need to complete with large e-commerce websites.

If you are a retailer interested in Freewheel.co.uk, you are encouraged to attend this year's iceBike* in February to get all the details about the programme and what it entails as well as how you can get involved.

Register your interest for iceBike* 2019 here.
