Activate Cycle Academy, which is both a Cytech training provider and ACT member, supported the Rediscovery Centre team in completing the Cytech Technical 3 course, a key step towards delivering the qualification, as well as e-bike courses, directly at their Ballymun premises in Ireland.

The week-long training covered advanced areas including mountain bike suspension servicing, electronic gearing systems, hydraulic brake maintenance, and specialist wheel building techniques.

The Rediscovery Centre’s Cytech Ireland programme already runs Home Mechanic and Technical 1 Practical courses from its purpose-built training workshop, with availability now open for people to register their interest in the Cytech Technical 2 course.

Upcoming training dates in Dublin include Home Mechanic courses on 27 September, 4 and 11 October, and Technical 1 Practical sessions running in September, October, and November.

Members of the ACT get exclusive access to Cytech accreditation. To learn more, visit the Cytech website.
