The Evans Cycle London E-Bike Festival Postponed

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Upper Street Events has announced that the The Evans Cycle London e-Bike Festival 2020 has been postponed until further notice.

The event was originally set to take place on 2 - 3 May at Battersea Evolution, but will now be rescheduled to a "later date" that is yet to be announced.

The news has arrived less than a week after the London Bike Show announced that it would be postponed, with the new date set as 3 - 5 July.

The full statement from Upper Street Events can be found below:

"It is with great regret that Upper Street Events has taken the decision that, as a result of the evolving Covid-19 situation, it is no longer possible for us to hold The Evans Cycle London e-Bike Festival 2020 (2 - 3 May, Battersea Evolution).

We have been following UK Government guidelines and advice from Public Health England and other organisations as the situation has evolved and, given the latest announcements with regards to mass gatherings, it is now with much sadness that we have taken the decision that we will need to postpone the event. The safety and wellbeing of our staff, exhibitors, visitors, partners and contractors is of the upmost importance to us, and the protection and prevention of harm to all involved is vital.

We are currently working with Battersea Evolution to look at options to reschedule The Evans Cycle London e-Bike Festival to a later date. Stand and sponsorship bookings will be transferable, however, if you are unable to make the new date a refund for your stand and/or sponsorship will be issued. We will be in touch over the next 14 days to update you on the situation.

We are sincerely sorry that we have had to take this incredibly difficult course of action and thank you for bearing with us at this uncertain time.

Our sales teams and credit control team will be in touch over the next 14 days with updates on this process and your options.

Our team will also be available on 0207 150 5973 or alan.parfitt@upperstreetevents.co.uk to deal with any specific questions you may have.

Please take care and we hope to see you later this year"
