Cycling Electric reveals Demo Day 2026 information following successful events this year

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Electric bike specialist title CyclingElectric.com has announced that its e-bike Demo Days will return to the four established locations in 2026, following a successful series of events in 2025.

Cycling Electric Demo Day
Cycling Electric Demo Day

These test ride events give attendees the opportunity to compare electric bikes side-by-side on purpose-built cycling circuits, free from traffic. Plus, in 2026, the publisher and events company is set to bring in help for first-time riders in the form of an adult cycle trainer, helping those who haven’t ridden in a long time to familiarise themselves with the e-bike and cargo bike experience.

Whether you’re in the market for an e-bike or simply want to find out what it’s like to ride one, the Demo Day provides the opportunity to test-ride electric bikes from a variety of manufacturers, covering all price points. The bikes available to test will include commuter, folding, cargo, leisure, road bikes, gravel and kiddie carriers.

Event dates:

  • 19th April 2026, Lee Valley VeloPark, London
  • 7th June 2026, The Brownless Centre, Leeds
  • 14th June 2026, Odd Down Cycle Track, Bath
  • 5th July 2026, Herne Hill Velodrome, London

Brands set to attend the 2026 series will be announced early next year. Last year’s brands included Tenways, Jorvik, Dolan, Velo de Ville, Raleigh, ARCC, Riese & Müller, Estarli and Benno.

Cycling Electric Editor Mark Sutton said: "Test riding plays an incredibly important role in the buying process and heading into our third year we’re further refining our events to better help people get started cycling again. I’ve seen the difference a demo can make in helping people understand how e-bikes ride, plus how owning an electric bike can unlock newfound freedoms and transport cost savings."

Commercial Director for Cycling Electric, Adrian Hogan, added: "Following the successful launch in 2024, this year’s series of Cycling Electric Demo Days gives brands the chance to connect with a nationwide audience of consumers who are actively looking to test and buy an e-bike. Last year’s events generated countless bike sales, and this year offers an even greater opportunity for brands to engage directly with potential customers across the UK."

Demo Day tickets cost just £9 for a single ticket or £11.50 for a ‘couple’ ticket that allows you and your partner or friend to ride together.

The ticket price includes:

  • Entry to a traffic-free circuit
  • Unlimited cycling for the day
  • The opportunity to test and compare a diverse range of electric bikes
  • The chance to speak with brand experts who are on hand to answer any questions
  • An opportunity to get help with training and technical tips
  • The demo day will run from 10am-4pm.

Please note: all riders must be over 18 years old and own e-bikes cannot be taken onto the track. Please bring your own helmet as there will be limited opportunities to borrow one on the day. Please also carry some ID on the day.
