And the Winner of the Cytech Mechanic Challenge is...

Posted on in Cycles News

Last month Cytech and Myagi launched their new partnership with a challenge for all bike mechanics/sales advisors.

Competitors were invited to sign up to Myagi, and take part in the Cytech mechanic challenge in the form of a 10 question multiple choice quiz. Myagi the leading online learning and development platform for the Bike industry, hosted the quiz and attracted over 350 new users to the platform, all keen to demonstrate their awesome bike knowledge. The winner will receive a huge bag of goodies from Zyro, with a retail value of over £500 including products from Camelbak, Fenwicks, Giro, Abus, SKS, Panaracer and Cateye.

Cytech and Myagi launched the Cytech Mechanic challenge to highlight the importance of developing your staff, using readily available training content that's easy to access. Both organisations believe the cycle industry needs to do more to develop staff and ensure customers keep coming back to repeat that great in-store experience. It's no secret that engaged retail staff are crucially important to retail sales.

Jonathan Harrison, Marketing Director for the ACT has been hugely encouraged by the attention the Cytech challenged received: "It's great to see so many mechanics and sales staff enthusiastic to show off their technical knowledge and using such an innovative and engaging platform like Myagi makes learning fun and measurable. We look forward to developing our partnership with Myagi and will continue to champion staff development in the cycle industry."

Myagi's Richard Smith was keen to highlight the free training available on Myagi: "Myagi recently launched its "How to Sell" guides for retail associates in the industry, which cover the most popular product categories in your bike store. This is a free resource for all bike retailers and their staff and can accessed by signing up at www.Myagi.com."

To follow on from the Cytech Mechanic Quiz, Cytech are also running a £50 off promotion for their Cytech theory one online course, to help retailers ensure everyone in the cycle trade has a basic level of knowledge. To get your discount code take a quick test module on Myagi by clicking here and then head over to www.cytechtheoryone.co.uk to sign up and redeem your discount.

And the moment you've all been waiting for -

The Cytech Mechanic Challenge winner is:
Robbie Bell from COWLEY CYCLES with an impressive 100% accuracy in a lightning fast 32 seconds!

Both Cytech and Myagi would like to thank all those that took part and also Zyro for putting up an amazing prize.

Stay tuned for more exciting announcements from the Cytech and Myagi on their expanding partnership.
