Job Description
MB Cyclery is one of the UK’s leading independent bike shops located in Haslemere, Surrey, and we have a rare vacancy for a Sales Advisor to join the team.
We’re looking for someone who will engage with customers at the highest standard, someone who can talk to anyone and everyone and provide the full service package. That is to advise on bikes, equipment, sizing and availability, proceeding to sell goods and our bike repair services, as well as excellent after sales care.
Please get in touch if you have experience in the cycling industry or in retail sales, and if you possess the following attributes:
- positive outlook
- excellent customer care
- driven to sell our bikes and our repair services
- work as part of a small team
- flexibility with customers and daily tasks
- keen to work at our events, for example our RedBull Rampage screening night or e-bike demo rides
- confident and considerate with customers
- organised, trustworthy and reliable
- understanding of the cycling industry and what brings people to cycling.
- good IT skills
MB was established in 2017 and it’s been awesome (and busy!) since the doors first flung open. We are independent, so you will be working amongst the team and the owners themselves. We have a real passion for bikes and we’ve been riding and racing them since kids…they really are our bread and butter.
We’d like to hear from people who share this same passion about riding, who are meticulous about their work and strive for the best. A full-time position with a competitive salary (and other perks) is being offered to the right person, to work 5 days per week including Saturday’s (with a day off in the week).
